This girl doesn’t take a bad picture!
I had the privilege to work with a model on Sunday. I would like to go ahead and apologize to her parents for the money they are about to spend. There are so many great pictures of Whitney that they are going to have trouble picking! Connie, you are going to want all of them. I truly enjoyed spending time with the three young ladies that were at the photo session. Enjoy the sneak peek photos.

A special Birthday Post
I wanted to post a special birthday post for Mason. Mason is such cutie that the girls at cheerleading just flock to him. It has been a joy to take photos of him. Happy First Birthday Mason!!!!

What a cute couple!
They traveled an hour to get their photos taken at my favorite location. I am convinced that the portraits are worth the drive because they are turning out GREAT! I try to encourage couples to add some personality to the portraits by convincing them to fall into a natural pose themselves. The women are usually excited about being creative and the men can only think of PG-13 poses. LOL! Engagement photos are so fun to shoot! Happy viewing...

Dreading to return...
Vacations are so nice! I actually felt rested after this vacation, but it is crazy how reality is so quick to return. My first week back has been insane. My schedule just doesn't seem to slow down and I can't help but to fill every day with one or two events, especially the weekends. I know I am not the only person that feels this way. How do we stop the madness? We don't...We live life to the fullest...literally.

Engagement photos
Again, the rain almost cancelled a shoot but the sun peeked out just in time! I am so excited for this lovely couple to see their photos. I love so many of them, I don’t know how they will choose. It was so cute to see them talking and laughing during the posing. I was fortunate in the fact that they weren’t afraid of getting a little messy or opposed to fun and creative posing!

My dog!
Oh boy, is my dog bad. We have an electric fence but you wouldn't know it. Two Fridays ago Cody went on one of his adventures. He found himself hunting and chasing an animal. Unfortunately, the animal got him instead. I am sure you have experienced driving in your car and suddenly being overwhelmed with the smell of a skunk. Now, imagine stopping and putting the skunk in your car to take him home. Yes, he was sprayed by a skunk and he smelled so bad! Two weeks and three baths later he still smells like skunk, even his breath! The vet assured me that over time the smell will go away. In the meantime, Cody thinks that his name has been changed to “you stink,” because you can not help but to say “you stink” every time you come in contact with him.

New Blog!
June 10, 2009
I have spent the last year building my portfolio and meeting a lot of great people along the way. I plan to continue to research the Art of Photography to my fullest potential. Building a photography business has been a very interesting and in most cases rewarding but I have also spent a lot of time researching and working without generating money. I guess you could say that I have burned the midnight oil quite a few nights in the last 10 months. I plan to continue to pursue Legacy Photography as long as my clients continue to be happy with their photos!
